Label printing fails in SDK when template includes a background image

I'm trying to print a label using the 2021 SDK in my C# rest API. Everything works great until I try to include a background image on the template. When the template has a background image, the .Print(string printJobName, outMessages messages) method returns a Result of "Failure", and also returns an empty Message object.

Are there any additional considerations that I may be missing when printing from a template with a background image?

  In order to properly troubleshoot this issue we would benefit from knowing the following information:
  
  

  • Have you tried using different images with other sizes or resolutions? Does the issue persist with these?
  • Where is this image located? Is it hosted locally or on a server?
  • Is your SDK updated?
