Prefix printing twice

We are updating to 2022 from 2016.

If a label has a prefix added to the serial number, as many of ours do, the prefix will print twice in print portal. It should be noted that the prefix shows in the data input window, (see the number 16541 below) which is new with this version. I have read the previous threads. Changing the prefix to a separate field would not be a good solution as we have a large number of labels that would need to be updated.

  This issue you are experiencing is likely due to a bug with the most recent version of BarTender 2022. In order to properly troubleshoot this issue, we would appreciate it if you could provide us with the following information:
  
  

  1. BarTender version, edition, and service release (you can find this information in the "Help > About" tab on BarTender Designer.
  2. If you were to create a new label with a prompt dialog with the same characteristics, do you experience the issue in this new label as well?
