How can I reverse print the barcode. To print with white ribbon on black cards

Hi
I am trying to create a card with both text and barcode on a black card with use of white ribbon and a Primacy2 printer. Text is no problem, and it will print the barcode also but scanner can't read due to it is reversed as the black gets white and vice versa!?

I found a posting 8 year old with the same kind of question and an answer from Bartender community......
"Unfortunately this method is initially a bit troublesome as we are used to work on a WYSIWYG fashion, which is not what's happening when changing the colour of the ink ribbon and stock. We hope to be able to add some sort of function that changes the visual aspect of the design in BarTender depending on these variables."

Have anything been created since then to make this more simple??
Is there another way to solve this without having to do separate second printing with black ribbon?

  Laser scanners probably wont work with inverse barcodes but have you tried with an 2D image reader/scanner?
