Search and Replace - Dynamic file name

I am looking to utilize the search and replace functionality of the .bt file.  It works fine if the file name is static but not when it is dynamically changing (i.e. time stamped with filename).  For example, every time a file gets dropped into this locaon it is named, ABCD101419564 based on the date and time.  Is this search and replace functionality work with dynamic file names or static only?  What about using it whenever a file is detected in the file locaton?  We are looking to replace text within the .bt file every time a new file gets generated in the file location.

  Not sure what you mean for dynamic file names you could use the *.bt for example to replace full file name or just part of it such as ABC*.bt
