Print Station root folders keep deleting
Hi there!
We have Print Station on a computer in our warehouse. For some reason, the root folders that are set with the BarTender labels keep disappearing. It happens randomly or after a restart.
I tried the solution noted in a different post but we're still having the issue
Any suggestions on how to get these folders to STAY?
- The folders are on our network
- I tried mapping the folders through the drive letter that the network folder is mapped to (K:\folder\bartender templates
- I also tried mapping the folders just using (\\server\folder\bartender templates)

Is Print Station hosted in a Citrix environment by chance? Print Station's settings (as most of BarTender's settings) are taken from the %ProgramData%\Seagull\ files and folders. There are certain configuration files that can be placed elsewhere through the "File Location" section of the Administration Console, but the folder scanned by Print Station is not one of them.
If you're using Citrix, you'll need to either include %ProgramData%\Seagull folder into the "defaults" settings for your Citrix environment or run a batch file when starting each session that properly adapts Print Station's settings.config file. I only mention this because it is the most common source of disappearing root folders in Print Station.
