Filter at Print Time?
Hi guys - I currently have a conundrum. I'm trying to get my BarTender to print a label that is filtered by a specific field, but also adding on a suffix that is entered in a second field. Both of these are on my Data Entry Form. I don't want the initial preview to pop up asking me to enter the data, I just want the data entry form to pop up so I can enter the data into the field and then get my respective label. I'm trying to do this without a query prompt popping up at all, but i can't seem to do it. If i don't use the query prompt, it just gives me all the data in that field AFTER I get done typing the one job number, so I end up with a thousand or more labels. How can i get it to just select the one I want in the data entry form without the popup for a query prompt first?

Hi Anthony,
Welcome to the BarTender Community!
I believe what you are trying to do can be done by going to the Print menu in BarTender Designer and filtering by that specific field on the Database Setup screen:
After applying the filter, and getting rid of the query on the form, that should get rid of the need of inputting that filter at print time.
Let us know if there is anything else we can help you with. :)1
