    Hello Adnan,

Welcome to the BarTender Community Forums!

Have you tried inserting these files as an image instead of directly importing them? Below you will find a tutorial on how to do so:

Linking to an External Picture File

Please, be aware that once it is inserted in BarTender, it can not be edited anymore as Vector. If what you are trying to do is re-create your design into BarTender, what you can do is set your files as the label background picture.

This will help you use them as a guide to then place all your objects over the background to quickly re-create the label design in BarTender directly.

Configuring template backgrounds (Video - 5:06)

Also, keep in mind that BarTender is not an image editor so when dealing with vector images like SVG that have a number of different features and settings there may be times when they do not display properly. The best way to address these problems is by ensuring that the correct settings are applied in your image software. Make sure that text is grouped and formatted properly (correct spacing, white spaces, indentations, etc).

If it's not possible to edit the SVG in an image editor you can manually make changes to an SVG file using a text editor.

Usually the xml:space="preserve" attribute is used. This attribute preserves white space in text objects, which causes some of the text to jump outside the lines. Changing this attribute to xml:space="default" fixes most of the text alignment issues.

You can also edit the x= and y= values to shift the text in the desired direction.

I hope this information was of use to you. Please, let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.
