I am trying to make a record picker visually useful and not just technically working.
I have a dataset of only a few records and want to display them as cards on a carousel. But the standard card layout is dire, a list of name-value pairs. 
The help system is detailing the options on the dialogs but not explaining how to use them, knowledgebase articles and YouTube videos stop at the level of “you can use a record picker to select your record”

Has anybody any experience with a Carousel Card Record Picker? How to change the layout and/or arrange individual data items? I have wasted hours so far and I don't get anywhere.
For instance, just changing a description field to “Wrap:yes” makes it either wrap in a 2mm column with one letter in each row or disappear completely.
