Licensing Service not installed with update
I recently updated to BarTender 11.11. It refuses to launch giving an error that Bartender's security policy does not allow the specified user to perform this action.
I found this article: "Permission Denied... BarTender's security policy does not allow the specified user to perform this action." - BarTender Error Message - Efficient Business Integrators
That led me to checking the licensing services. None were started, when I go to start them, the files the reference are missing. It is pointing to a previous installation located at: C:\Program Files\Seagull\BarTender 2022\Licensing.Service.exe
The Bartender 2022 folder exists, but is completely empty. How can I get the service to point to the new install?

Try checking that Administration Console is up and running and all the BarTender Windows Services have started. I have seen that error before when these have not started correctly.

Peter,
The Windows service are not running. The services all point back to a folder that is completely empty. It looks like the new install did not install the service with it. At this point I can't get the service to start as there is nothing to run. Any clue on how to get the services repaired or installed correctly?0 -
Have you tried running a repair on the install?
