Bartender Skipping Text On 3/4 Labels

Hello,

 

I am trying to print 280 labels. 

Each of these labels has 5 fields that are connected to my Excel Database. My issue is that one of the fields is only printing on every 4th label, starting with the first one. I have tried to print the labels with the problem field as a static value and that does not work either. I have also tried to print with connecting it to a different column in the same Excel database and the problem persists. I know it is a problem with Bartender because the values do not even show up in the print preview the way they should. 

It was working earlier today, I am not sure how else I can troubleshoot.

  If the field is at the edge of the label try to reposition it to make sure it further on the label itself as some printers will not print fields that go over the edge of them label.

  If it is not at the edge I would suggest deleting the field from the label and then copy and paste one of the other working database linked fields and check if that works, If it does go into the Properties of that field and adjust the database field to the correct one that has your data and retest it.

  Hi Paul, thanks for your post.

  You mentioned that this happens when your printing; if you use the Print Preview instead and scroll through your records, does it also show the field missing? The Print Preview feature should show what the label should print like, sometimes it can immediately tell you that it's actually missing, based on custom conditions you may have set.

  If the field does appear in the Print Preview, review what Pete mentioned above; make sure that your objects in the label design are not exceeding the white space of the design. If you're still having issues, consider opening a ticket with tech support so that they can take a better look at your files.

  Thanks to both of you!

  But I was able to solve the issue by moving everything to the same layer. 

  The field would only appear in every 4th label also until I changed the layer it was on.
