License server 10.1. SR3 to SR4 upgrade

I wish to perform an in place upgrade from 10.1 SR3 to SR4 on a Windows 2008 R2 VM. My plan is to:

- snapshot VM
- run SR4 installer (which I can see will uninstall SR3 software).

Will I have to reactivate the software after the SR4 install again? 

If so will the existing support key below the activation status be sufficient to reactivate online.

Our current version is License Server only 10.1. SR3 Automation version.

  If you are running the installation upgrade on the same machine you should not need to deactivate the old version first as SR4 should just pick up the same activation afterwards.
