Setting printer based on label template
I apologize in advance for my lack of knowledge here. But I can't seem to find an answer to this question anywhere.
I have a set of label templates that we use print station to print to. They need to be pointed to specific IP printers (each one) to print onto the correct label stock. Our users are incapable of selecting the printers they want from the dropdown in print station to go to the correct printer corresponding to the proper size. I know I can lock it down so they can't change it but I can't get it associate with the correct printer AND have it be locked down correctly for each template.
Is there a way to script this into the label template? I'm not great at scripting but can usually muck through some stuff.
Is there a way to set it up in print station that I'm missing?
I need some sort of global way to set this so my users can't keep messing it up.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If you save the label format when it is pointed to the correct IP printer and all the PCs have this same printer shared and installed on them identically then Print Station should just connect to that same printer automatically, The issue you get is where the printer used to create the label can not be found in which case the default printer is selected.
