Can a label template with Form and data connection also be used for a Web Service Integration
I would like to build one Template (.btw) that can used used both interactively on the Print Portal where it has a user input form and a data connection, AND for web service where the same label is printed but the data elements are passed in via the JSON structure.
I been able to create a .btw with an embedded form that works on the Print Portal, and a create a different btw without a form that works via the WebService. I have not been able to use the .btw with the embedded form with a Web Service. Is this possible? If so, what do I need to know to make that work?

Hi Darrell,
I am fairly certain you cannot call up the data entry form via a web service integration and believe you would need to send the data through to the named data sources on the label template. I know with some of the other integration methods you are able to reference and specify the values of your query prompts, but I am not sure if this is an option via web service as I have never had a requirement to try this.
Sorry this is a bit vague.

Hi Pete,
I don't want to call up the data entry form via a web service I want to populate the fields on the label via a web service integration.
I'd like to be able to use the same label template for interactive use via the web portal or directly via the web service.

Hi Darrell,
Have you seen this webinar video that goes through a lot of what you want?
It does mention allowing you to set values for Query Prompts but I am not sure if that just relates to database queries/filters.
