    Hi Ingo,

    It sound like you want to set up a query prompt to enter your article number and print the label for that specific product. If this is the case you need to set up a Filter in the Database Connection Setup screen and specify what field has the value you are looking for, then the operator (normally Equals - there is a dropdown for this if something else is needed line Begins with... for example ) and then link this to a new query prompt. 

    I am not actually sure what you mean by creating another file, sorry.

    thank you very much for your help! Of course you understood our problem. We understand the way a solution could be find. We tried to make as written but have now the problem that we can´t see how to check what we have done... Where can we find the command to search, e.g for an article number?

    Hi Ingo,

    If the filter/query is set up correctly, if you go to the Browse tab in the Database Setup screens this should bring up the Query Prompt asking you to enter the required data. 

    In the label screen, if you go to File>Print, make sure the Queried Records (near the bottom of the screen) is set to All and when you Print or Print Preview it should also bring up the same Query Prompt as above.
