Database field names

Hi all

When I create a new text object on the label design and drag and drop a database field onto it, I get the field name displaying in full eg Field: Sheet1$.Name

Previously it used to populate with the actual data in my Excel spreadsheet, but not anymore. I know I can right click on it and manually type the Sample data name in the Data source tab, but often its useful to see the data directly so you can design your label to fit everything in nicely.

I'm sure this is a relatively easy fix, can anyone provide me with an answer?

  Make sure your database is connected, in the bottom left corner of your template there is a cylinder with a line. It most likely has a red x indicating that it is not connected to your database. Click on it and your data will pull into your fields.
