We are printing labels from LabVantage LIMS software to a Brady i5300 printer by way of BarTender. The cutter options on all other Brady printer models (i3300, IP300, BBP33, etc.) are obeyed, but for the i5300, it always cuts after each print job (which can have multiple labels). When I test print labels from the BarTender Designer, it does NOT cut (obeys the printer setting). The label's page setup Media Handling action is set to ‘Use Driver’s Settings'. Document Properties → Advanced → Custom Settings → Cutter Option = ‘Never’. The printer configuration on both Windows and the physical printer are set to ‘Never’. We are using BarTender 2016. Is anyone aware of an incompatibility with the Brady i5300? Why would it cut after each job if all of the settings are correct?
