Subject: Request for Temporary License Activation or Free Version – BarTender 10.1 License
Dear Seagull Scientific Support Team,
We currently have BarTender version 10.1 licensed for 3 printers. About two weeks ago, the server hosting this license crashed, and we are unable to power it on to deactivate the license.
We have a new server ready, but activating the license there fails with an error indicating the product key is already in use on another machine—even though the old server is no longer accessible.
We contacted your support team, but were informed that without an active maintenance agreement, support cannot be provided. Unfortunately, we were unaware of the maintenance subscription requirements and are currently stuck and unable to operate.
Due to internal company circumstances, we cannot purchase a new version or maintenance contract immediately; this may take one to two months.
Given these circumstances, we kindly ask if it is possible to receive either a free version compatible with 64-bit Zebra printers, or as a one-time exception, enable the activation of our existing license key on our new server.
We sincerely hope you understand our situation and assist us in resolving this issue until we are able to secure a maintenance contract or upgrade.
