First I tried to repair the program but it didn't help.

There are a couple of adjustments you can make from the Record Picker screen itself but I dont think you can adjust the font size. However if you add the Record Picker to a Data Entry Form then you can manipulate how it is appears including column order and the size etc.

Does this mean that the Select record page cannot be edited?

As mentioned above there are some limited adjustments you can make but not too many
