Resident fonts not visible

    It sounds like either the user has insufficient permissions to see these or else the driver has not installed correctly, and so it maybe worth checking these

    Hi Peter,

    Thank you for your reaction. I've had our systems administrator look at it but he couldn't figure out which permissions need to be set to get these fonts loaded. Do you know which permissions it needs to be able to get the resident fonts? I've tried reinstalling the printer several times but that doesn't solve the issue.

    The fonts should be loaded when you install the printer driver, these are my screens

    and my user account has these security settings

    After searching a long time we finely figured it out. Turns out this problem indeed had to do with permissions. It had to do with being able to install untrusted fonts. The printer driver wants to install the fonts and they are marked as untrusted by Windows. Group policy prevented installing fonts from untrusted sources and as a result the resident fonts didn't show up.
