Print Issues After Switch From Xerox Laser To Primera Label Printer
Hi Everyone,
We have been using a Xerox laser printer for a while now printing four labels per 8-1/2" x 11" sheet. The store has been having many issues with the printer so we decided to switch to a Primera LX900 inkjet label printer.
They did not have an exact label size match (4-1/4" x 5-1/2"), but a roll of 4 x 6 labels I figured would be close enough. The Primera printer came with Bartender, which is what the store was using with the Xerox, and I tried printing a few test labels. It gave me a warning that the sizes were not an exact match and it offered me the option to autoresize the label.
The content fit with no problems, but the label printed in portrait mode, which spanned across two labels. I changed the orientation to landscape hoping it would simply rotate the label sideways, but instead the graphics were shifted and out of place.
I'm new to Bartender and label printers in general, so I was wondering if someone had an idea of a possible fix? We have almost a hundred label templates and it would be a nightmare to redesign them all.

You should find the Portrait vs Landscape printing in the page setup of your document. You may also find a setting in your print driver, or finally, you can use BarTender's "Rotate 90 degree" function to highlight all fields and rotate them (just also change the label dimensions in your page setup to account).
