We have developed some labels where you can fill in a Batch Number and an Expiry Date in the Prompt Dialog Box when we want to print.

Is it possible to fill in the Batch Number and Expiry Date, print 1 label, check if that label is alright and then print the number of labels needed without having to fill in the Batch Number and Expiry Date?

  Hello Lien,

   

  Indeed that is certainly possible, you only need to activate the "Update substring after print" (on our latest edition is called "Update data source after print") checkbox from the prompt dialog options (inside the label object's properties). Once activated the label will save the last entered value.

   

  *If you wish me to guide you to exactly where this option is, please let me know your version, edition and build of BarTender as it's not the same on the older version as on the new ones.
