Hi,

i don't understand how i can print a BMP image to SATO printer using a text file.

 

I placed my BMP to label and printed to file. How i can retrieve data of image?

  I assume you're using BarTender with a Seagull printer driver for the Sato printer?

   

  When creating a print file in the above manner we generate printer code that is understood by the Sato firmware.  In this case Sato printers understand embedded image data in a print file in either PCX or an uncompressed format.  This is the case even if a BMP image file was used in the label design of BarTender.

   

  It should be noted that different printer manufacturers support various image formats.  PCX is popular, as is various uncomressed or compressed base 64 in a variety of proprietary formats.
