E-Mail Print Report

Hello everyone,
is there any way that BarTender can automatically send email report on how many labels are printed for that day, like scheduled task, once a day or once in a month.

  There is no such built-in feature for this.  Depending on how you documents have been implemented or are requested, you could run some script/code to keep a running total on the amount of labels printed.

  Hi Ian,

   

  I am looking for a script that can help me to get a print report some of the field from the excel files through which i have done printing. But cant get any. your help will be highly appreciated.

  I'm not going to help you with any coding examples I'm afraid, but another option would be to log all print jobs to the BarTender System Database (BTSDB).  With the raw data logged, you could then use a reporting tool like Crystal Reports to make a summary report of your printing activities by connecting directly to the SQL server that stores the BTSDB data and thereby generate a report by it.  I believe that Crystal Reports and other applications of its ilk can be configured to run a report on a time/date basis and probably send the generated report by various means.
