Create Label Images From Database Source Data

Hello,

I would like to automatically create TIF or EPS label images from data in a database or spreadsheet table.

Am using Bartender Automation Edition v9.4.

I can do individual labels using screen data entry and export image from the file menu.

However I could not automate the process with the information I found in the support documents or forum.

Please help.

  BarTender Enterprise Automation Edition has such function - Export Print Preview to image, via XML Script / .net SDK / ActiveX.

   

  Prepare a test pc (which not being used for label production) and install the latest BarTender trial as Enterprise Automation, then try XML below.

  As the Automation edition doesn't have the feature, if that matches what you want, consider upgrade to BarTender Enterprise Automation edition.

   

  Another thought is install PDF printer driver (Bullzip PDF etc)  and print to the printer from BarTender.

  Hello Shotaro,

  Printing labels to PDF and then exporting them to TIF and EPS worked like a treat. Thanks.

  Still need to try the xml script in Enterprise Automation.
