Bt Print Only Version - Edit Database Connection?

Hi,

 

Is it possible to edit something like the database connection and save the changes in the Print Only version? I have a template designed on PC#1 using BT Pro (with a database connection using paths specific to PC#1, let's say "c:\database") and if I use this template on PC#2 which would have a different path to the database (let's say "d:\database"), would I be able to edit the connection in BT Print Only and save the changes or would I need to do this in BT Pro?

  Hi Josh,

  Yes, you can switch database file in Print Only Edition.

   

  In BarTender Print Only edition, you can edit Database connection and Page setup, then save the document to keep that settings, though you cannot edit / add label object.

   

  In full Editions (Professional or above) you can simulate Print only edition by Administer > Print Only Password setup, specify password and re-open BarTender.

  To disable print only password, open Print Only Password setup again and specify blank password as new password.
