Need Incremental, Alphanumeric But Excluding I And O

I need to print a batch of Code 39 barcode labels with incremental alphanumeric characters (ABC-123). The customer wants me to skip the letters I and O, presumably because they are too easily confused with One and Zero. Is there a way to do this within BarTender, or do I need to figure out how to build a database with this feature?

I'm running Automation 9.4, SR3

  You can use BarTender's serialization functionality to do that.  Double-click on the object, select the 'data source' tab, then select 'more options', then the 'serialization' tab.  Check the box for 'serialize', then for type select 'Alphanumeric without I and O'.  That will allow you to create serial numbers that will skip those two letters.
