Bartender 9.5 On The Horizon?
As we begin to look at planning for next year, I was curious if we can expect to see a newer version of BarTender next year. If the next one is planned, can anyone provide a general idea, perhaps the quarter, we can expect the new release to come out? Any information that I can use for planning purposes (upgrading the software) would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah they are very tight-lipped about the release schedule. Regional sales associates claim to not even know until the day it ships that a new BarTender version is coming out. It's happened more than once that we enter a re-stock order, have it arrive, only to see there's a new version released almost as soon as we unbox them. Lol.
Seagull is usually relatively responsive in trading them in for the latest version though. As an end-user, you may want to clarify their policy on "free upgrade within xx days of purchase" if there's a new release. I'm not sure what it is.0
