I have the software BarTender Enterprice version 9.01. It 'compatible with the operating system windows 7 and win 8? E 'need to download an upgrade? Thank you.

  BarTender v9.01 is Windows compatible only up to Windows Vista.  For WIndows 7 you need v9.20 and Windows 8 is v10.0 SR2 for full 100% compatibility.  You might find that Windows 7 will work with your version to a degree, but there are various known and unknown issues which will break it.
