Printer Resets Ips Speed After Printing Bar Code Document
We have one printer that is set to "7 IPS" but after printing a document from BarTender, sets the printer speed to "2 IPS", which is quite noticable for the users when printing from other applications. I see where in the preferences for other printer drivers, there's a setting that says "Use Current Printer Settings" with a check box that is checked along with other options that are grayed out which would allow setting the printer speed when the check box is unchecked. But in this printer driver's preferences I don't see that option.
The printers we are using include:
1) InfoPrint 6700-R40 - has the options I mentioned above, works OK
2) Zebra Z4M - has the options I mentioned above, works OK
3) Zebra ZM400- I don't see those options and the printer speed keeps getting reset to "2 IPS"
Can you give me some idea of where to check those options and/or set things up so that the printer speed does not keep getting reset when labels are printed from BarTender?

I assume that you are using Seagull printer drivers and not a driver from some other software vendor?
In BarTender with your label format open select the "File>Print" menu item, assuming the Zebra driver is selected click the "Document Properties" button, This will open the driver dialog of the label format's printing properties. Print speed will be found under the "Options" tab. After making your change be sure to save the label as these settings are saved and used as part of the BarTender document. By default a BarTender document will not be using the default settings of the driver. Settings can be customized on a per BarTender document basis.

Thanks! We ended up getting it working today, in part due to that suggestion.
