Print Image Via Checkbox [Solved]

Hello,

 

I create a template, from which all our labels shall be printed. I have to use various images, yet not every image is needed or allowed on every label.

 

My first attempt at creating checkboxes and linking them to the image objects on the template doesn't work. Every image is printed, regardless, wether I check the checkbox or not.

 

For example, some of our labels need to include a batch number. I managed to give the user a field, where it's possible to enter that number. This number is preceded by an image, that basically just says "LOT" in a thick frame. I want to be able to check the checkbox and enter the batch number and both will be printed but not, when I leave the box unchecked.

 

How do I achieve that?

  Using Checkbox and Picture with data source, you can choose either print image or not from data entry.

  see attached sample - place all files in a same folder.

   

  Note:

  - Set Error handling to Never abort print job.

  - Default path can be absolute path (C:\folder\, \\server\folder\) or relative path (.\ means the same folder as btw file)

  - Link picture's data source to checkbox.

  - If you want to not show file extensions (.png, .jpg etc)on form, apply by suffix transform.

  I tried your solution out immediately and after I set everything as shown in your example, it works perfectly smooth!

   

  It's just like I wanted it to be and it didn't involve any Visual Basic Script. :D
