Using Another Bartender Template Data In Data Entry

Hi there,

 

I have created 2 label templates, let say one is part number barcode (example data : 1000), another label template is consists of barcode with serialization and quantity. (example quantity i put 2, it should come out data as 1000-001, 1000-002) which are two pieces labels.

 

Now, problem is i would like to open just one bartender template to print the part number barcode and it will link to my second template in background, opening up the 2nd template data entry to print the quantity label with serialization number.

 

Is it workable using vb script?

 

Any help is appreciated.Thanks

  When you say "Template" do you really mean BarTender document?  I ask as you could have two templates (consisting of your two different label layouts) in the same BarTender document, which you can print at the same time sharing the same data source as needed.  Multiple templates for a document can be created via the "Templates" section of the "Page Setup" dialog.

  Thanks for the reply.

   

  I have tried your mentioned method. I never know it has this feature.

   

  There is one problem though as i would like my template 1 only print 1 copy but my template 2 is print based on the quantity in the prompt dialog.

  How can i achieve this by vb script?
