Saving Position/coordinates Of Components

Hey all,

 

I would like to save a position/coordinates of a  "component" as the components are always is the same place. At the moment I copy/paste from another label but I would like to shorten the time it takes to create a label.

 

Being able to double click on a component and it is placed in the same place at all times would be a great help. Does anyone know if this is possible?

  I just tried this on BarTender 2016 R3 and it works exactly as you wish.  Either double clicking or right click and choose "Add to template" results in the object/s being placed at the same position as where they were originally created.  Sorry, I don't know what other releases also give this same behavior, but it is supported in the current release at least.

  EDIT: I think it wasn't being placed in the original position because there was already something occupying that space. If it is left blank it can be placed in the original position.

  Well no because I still don't know the answer as I only have BT 2016 R3 on my PC,  If it doesn't work for you as I described above then I guess the answer is you're out of luck,

  I think it wasn't being placed in the original position because there was already something occupying that space and the component was being misaligned. If it is left blank it can
