Macro Pdf Support

Hi all,

 

I have a DoD requirement to support Macro PDF417 codes, but I don't see this as a formal supported sub-type of PDF417.   Does one need to manually create these variations, or does Seagull have a template for splitting these codes based on a single text input source?

  I assume you don't mean micro PDF which is a BarTender supported symbology?  Do you have more details on what exactly is required?

  Ian, I have the same need as the legacy poster. Macro PDF 417 is a function of the PDF 417 format (not Micro PDF 417 which is a completely different symbology). You can read up on this function here: https://www.barcodefaq.com/2d/pdf417/#MacroPDF

  I need to be able to do Macro PDF 417 barcodes in Bartender 2016. Can you help me?

  Hmmm, I don't know myself.  I imagine we probably support it, but don't know enough about the data format to be sure.  I suggest you contact technical support for assistance.
