Not sure what you mean by exported to ITF format, but ITF barcodes are numeric only and so wont recognise any function1 or similar characters

    Hi Pete,

Thanks to take time to review my post.

Here ITF is a text format use to upload bartender label to SAP.

    Kind regards

    Jérôme

    Okay I see.

It does sound like encoding of the function1 symbol in the data string maybe the issue. Just searching around but it seems that in subset C from SAP (possibly set by a : in the string) the FNC1 symbol is <8 but not 100% sure sorry.

You could always use Commader/Integration Builder (depending on your BarTender version) and output the data as trigger files from SAP getting it to open the appropriate BarTender label that includes the correct formatting information in the template.

I've tryed <8 but it didn't make it.

As per internal policy, we use BarTender for label design but printing is in charge of SAP that's why we use ITF format to upload label to.

    I keep looking for answer...

    Any other idea ?

You could stick the printer in hex dump/idagnostic mode and send the label down from BarTender and then the same label from SAP and see what has changed in the code. It maybe worth stripping off all the fields but the GS1 code so make the data easier to go through. You can then see what ASCII characters the Intermec want and what SAP is actually sending down and then you will need to match these up in your output to the printer

    Finaly sort it out !!

The issue is that the intermec FNC1 value is not right in the export (driver issue ?)

I had to search for the right code (for information 1 )

Thanks again for your help and support
