Arabics From Word In To Bartender?
Hi All,
I am new to Bartender and wondered if you can help me. I work for a company who exports to Dubai, so we are producing labels in Arabic. When taking Arabic text from a word document, it copies & paste's perfectly. However, when you copy and paste in to Bartender, using either a word processor box, or the multiple line box, it changes the order of the text, sometimes just randomly changing the text completely.
Does anybody know a solution, other than to use a single line text box and input 1 word/punctuation for each box? This method is fine if you have a few words but we have anything up to 60-80 words on our labels so it is very time consuming and complicated when trying to line all the boxes up.
Any help would be brilliant!

Hi Ian,
thank you for your response. I have sent it over to the IT team so that they can administer the suggested changes (i'm not down as admin so don't have the permissions to do so). Does it make a difference with what operating system we are running?? Currently we run Windows 7.

If you're running a modern version of Windows (including Windows 7) then you should be fine. Doing this on Windows 98 would be a different story...

Hi Ian,
We have found that as long as we don't end a line, or sentence, with an English character such as any punctuation or number then the text remains as you input it. As soon as you end a line or sentence with an English character such as punctuation or numbers, then the text alters. Now we have worked this out, we can work around it.
