Searching Label Files For Specific Text
Hi. I'm trying to find out if there is a way to search the contents of labels we have created for specific text that is contained in the label. For example, there was a typo that was noticed on one label and I would like to see if that is in any of our other labels without having to open each and every one (we have a lot of labels). We want to replace the word Parquets with the word Parque. Is there a way to find all the labels with Parquets in it from Windows Explorer or within BarTender itself? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you log print jobs to the BarTender System Database, choose to log all print data, then you can use the History Explorer to search for specific strings as per your requirement. Otherwise no.

Anyone know if this is still the case? The FDA is banning Red Dye #3, and we have tons of ingredient labels with that on it and need to find them easily.

Hi Mark,
Thanks for reaching out in the BarTender community forum!
You can use History Explorer to search for strings of object data that were printed on the labels, otherwise you would need to open each label to check for certain words. If the label data is coming from a database then you could just query the database.
Please feel free to let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns.
