Limit Database Selection To Just One Record?
Hello,
I have a database that contains a list of products.
We only ever print 1 product (Database record) at a time.
Sometimes our operators select the wrong database record then select the correct record without unselecting what they originally clicked on. So they end up printing labels for both products.
Can a label be set up so it only allows one record to be selected at a time? If you reselect another record the first record becomes unticked?
This would be a great help.

You could set up a query to return only a single record.

You could just restrict a record selector on your form to one entry. (Let me know if you need to know the preceding steps.)

Won't using a query fix the selection i.e. it will always select a certain record.
What I'm after is at time of printing only one can be selected.

Yes, this is from BT 2016; I'm not sure when along the line this feature was introduced, but it should do exactly what you need. It might be worth researching if your version includes it; it may just be in a different menu.
