Fixed Size For Data Matrix

Hi,

 

I'm very new to BarTender, using Enterprise Automation 10.1 SR4.

 

We need to print a Data Matrix bar code that will retain the same dimensions regardless of data provided at print time.

Is it possible to achieve that?

 

I've been playing in the designer with different dimensions and size options found in the 'Barcode Properties' window, with no success.  

For example, whenever I provide more data in the 'Sample Data' section, the dimensions of the bar code increases accordingly, overlapping other elements on the label.

  Thank you nRyder for your answer

  I changed the configuration as per your instruction, but unfortunately, I still get the same behavior: when more data is provided in the 'Embedded Data' section, the bar code expands.

  Similarly, when less data is provided, the bar code shrinks.

  What am I doing wrong?

  You'll have to attach your .btw file then. Because the steps I attached work perfectly for me, unless you are referring to very SLIGHT changes in size, which are unavoidable. But for the most part the size should stay the same.

  Hi,

   

  My problem is now resolved!  I simply deleted and re-created the bar code object in BarTender, and now everything works fine.
