    Hi,

You can create print code from label layout, which called Printer Code Template.

For DP mode, If your printer supports DP code, you can install Intermec DP driver for the printer.

To use Printer Code Template, from Administer menu > Printer Code Template Setup, create a print system using installed Intermec driver.

Create a label design on BarTender, then from File > Export printer code template, export the code to single file.

The printer code can be sent to printer from Printer driver's printer properties > Tools tab > Action > Send file to printer.

I'm not sure export printer code template is enabled in your Ultralite version. If not supported,

Printer code template is available in BarTender Automation or above.

Unfortunately I don't know how to store the DP print code in the printer and re-use that.

Actually I recommend to use Commander. Your IBM create flat text file (CSV / tab delimited etc) and drop to a folder.

Commander detects the file and using that data, automatically print label from BarTender.

    See Commander white paper.

Commander is available from Automation edition.

Hi, Sorry but how do you create a print system with an installed intermec driver? I'm currently trying to understand how to export my IPL Printer code template and I'm a little confused insofar I don't know what to choose as print system. It seems that I have to choose between those print systems: SAPscript-ITF / TEC-KB75 / TSC KU-007. But I'm not using none of these devices. Thanks for your help.

This may be a question for your Intermec reseller or technical support rather than BarTender.
