How To Create A Dynamic Grid?
Hi All,
I am very new to BarTender and I am trying to create a Carton Content Label. According to requirment there should be a grid in the lable whcih will show the contents of the carton one in each line. Each content having 4 attributes like Style, Color, Dimension and Size and also one column for number of pieces.
My datasource is a comma separated text file where first row is indicating field names and the other rows will have the actual data which needs to be printed.
Please help me in this.

Can I understand that you wish to print on a single page all the information contained in your comma delimited database?
*Please note that BarTender doesn't support adding information from different records into the same label, which means that you would need to set in your design as many labels as records are in your database.
1. To get that done, you'll need to configure a label of the size of one single row of data. To do so specify a page size of your entire printable area, and add as many rows as records your database contains (from the "File>Page Setup..." dialog under the "Layout" tab).
2. If you wish to build a "header" and/or "footer" you would need to specify an upper/lower margin of the required size and activate the "Page Template" feature (from BarTender's "File>Page Setup..." dialog, under the "Page" tab). In the page template design you can add objects to these extra margins you've configured.
