Date Barcode With Different Input

I need to print a label where the Date field has an input and display format of MM/DD/YYYY while the barcode needs to be YYMMDD. Is there an easy way to acheive this?

  Hello len,

   

  This can certainly be done, but before explaining how to get this done I would need to know where exactly is the date value going to come from. Is it going to use the system's date (thus using a "Clock" type data source)? Will it come from a database field? Or will you enter it manually at print time using a Data Entry Control?
