Truncate Fields To Box Displayed In Editor
I have a label with data supplied by btxml. A text object in the editor shows a box which I have placed in the layout. However, if the data is longer than will fit, bartender lets it run all over the page, obscuring adjacent data. How can I confine it to the box? I don't want to use truncation transform for this because it's the graphical size I'm interested in, not the number of characters (which be different since the font is proportional)

I should add that the "keep characters on left" box in the truncate transform doesn't even work with btxml input. It's ignored. Works fine with test data, but a long value in the xml input gets printed all over the adjacent objects. Try it.

There should be a property on the text field in the text format section for Auto size, this will shrink the text as it gets longer.
