Human Readable Above & Below?
Hi Guys and Gals
Can any of you experienced users help me out?
I've been asked to use Bartender to create a Label that has the Human Readable both above and below the barcode. I have searched and everything I can find says that the Human Readable can be above or below but not both.
Is this correct?
Is their any clever ways to get both?
What have others done that needed to do this?
Thanks

In the bar code object, you place the human readable either below or above the bar code bars. Apart from the bar code object, you create a separate text object and make it share the same data as you've entered. You can e.g. achieve this by making use of the "Object Value" Data Source, and then by choosing it to use the same data as the human readable from the bar code object on your label. I've attached a BT document sample for you to examine.

An even sneakier way to achieve this would be to copy the barcode object and paste it directly on top of the original. Now you have two barcode objects with the same data source occupying the same space. then Just change one of the objects settings to have the human readable different from the original.
This way I would think is better if you do not have a defined length for your barcode. Meaning that if you had it right justified or centered the text above and below would be the same versus if you used just a plain text field.

Thanks guys
Both suggestions are really useful. I'll give them a go.
