Hi Brian,

If you set auto reply for Message #1605 "Save changes to label format <file name>?" to [Yes] and disable dialog, you can always save the change you made.
Tools > Message setup (or - something like that. From Administer menu, from 9.1) you can modify message settings.
(Though this can be annoying when creating format.)

Another idea is create a shortcut to run BarTender, with /S (save) option.
Right click on desktop and select New > Shortcut, then set location like
"C:\Program Files\Seagull\BarTender Suite\bartender\bartend.exe" /F="C:\bt\Format1.btw" /P /S /X
(This will open the format, print, save after print and close bartender.)

* Path to bartend.exe depends on BarTender version you use. Available commands are vary in editions. See commands for Help > Automating BarTender > Automation with the command line interface.
Not available for Basic edition.

That first option will do the trick for this instance. Since we don't design labels at that station, it won't be as big of a nuisance. Thanks very much for that bit of info, I wasn't aware of those options!
