Install Segull Bartender Suite On Multiple Servers

Good Evening,

 

We have the bartender suite installed on a server at our corporate location.  It has the SLS on it as well.  Our dilema is that we have a remote location that would like to have the suite installed locally incase of a network failure between the corporate location and the remote location.  They don't want to have to connect back to corporate for the license server.  Is it possible to have the bartender suite installed on two servers with each server having its own SLS.  Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

  The only way to achieve that would be to purchase a separate license for each location.  A License Server license can only be installed on one place at a time, so if you want to install it in two locations you'd need two licenses.  

   

  If that's not feasible, you can have BarTender installed in multiple locations, and in the event of network failure, the remote BarTender instance will continue to print for up to 72 hours from the last successful print job without a connection to the License Server.  So that might be more in lines of what you're looking at for disaster recovery or the like.

  This is exactly what we are looking for.  We will install bartender on the remote server and use the 72 hour exemption if the network connection goes down.
