How To Get Format Print Result Immediately?

hi all,

i'm using the BarTender example JobStatusMonitor with the Application version trial, i changed the code to have the print result immediately but it doesn't return anything till it succeeds in sending the command to the printer (no timeout parameter defined).

Before sending the command i put the printer in error status so i expects to get failure result immediately, nothing happened till i recover the printer and the command is sent successfully.

The printer is a Zebra installed with the driver downloaded from Seagull website, i disabled the spooler option, so...i cannot understand the behaviour.

 

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

  Is Status Monitoring enabled in the Printer Drivers? You can do this via the "Tools" tab and now "Status Monitoring".

   

  Also, is Printer Maestro service running both on the PC where the driver has been installed and the PC where BarTender and your application?

   

  Could you send us part of the modified source code where you're actually using the Print function?
