Export A Barcode Image

Hi guys, quick question to make sure I am following the right path. I want to use BarTender to generate a BarCode for my application and use ExportImage to bring the image of the barcode it into my app that will save the BarCode image . Does that sound like a reasonable approach?

  Would it not be better to have your application control BarTender in order to print a BarTender document containing the barcode?

  Otherwise, in what way and for what purpose would you wish to import the barcode into your application?  You can of course do this if you really wish to.
