Create New Format

Is possible to create a new BTW format by using SDK ?
I'm kinda curious why we only can make a new BTW format by using ActiveX.
The reason I want to do is that we prepare writing an interface module to
integrate BT (include createFormat / modifyFormat / printFormat function)

  Sorry, but we do not support the creation of a label format document via automation. We also do not support the creation of new objects via automation that do not yet exist.
  
  What we do support is the modification of the BarTender document that is already created. Much of these manipulation options have not yet been implemented into the SDK. In time this should happen I believe.
