Does Bartender not work with split Access databases designed to be used on a network? Should I manually try to split the database? Are there any suggustions for a network database I can try that works with bartender and allows real time updating between multiple users simultaneously?

I'm using quickbooks POS 18. I exported the item files to Excel to make jewelry bar cod tags. With Bartender I did connect to quickbooks files but I couldn't do anything with it. I need help with this. Will appreciate if any one will help me with is. We are Jewelry Manufacturing company and this is very important. My phone number is 678 886 0175.

If you are using an older version of BarTender (not v2019) then you can sometimes encounter ODBC errors due the Microsoft driver that has to be used to form the connection between BarTender and an Excel document. If you are getting these these then the likely cause is that the is a "bit" incompatibility between the two pieces of software as they both need to be either 32 or both 64 bit as the ODBC driver will not allow a mismatch.

One other thing to note is to make sure the Excel file is closed when BarTender tries to read from it as Excel will only allow one person to access the file at a time and BarTender counts as a "person".
