Cannot Print Monochrome Image - Dithered Setting Won't Release In Bartender 10.1
I am having an issue printing a simple monochrome graphic on labels prepared with 10.1 SR3, Automation Edition.
The printer I am using is an Intermec Easycoder 3400E200.
I know that there is nothing wrong with the printer because I can print a nice crisp monochrome image from it using BarTender Ultralite (10.0). When printed using BT 10.1, the same image is dithered and looks horrible. I have not been able to prevent 10.1 from giving me a dithered image regardless of the graphics settings I try.
I submitted this problem to intermec Support and confirmed with two different technicians that they also cannot force BarTender 10.1 to produce anything but a dithered image on the 3400E regardless of the graphics settings. It was with their help that I discovered that BT Ultralite 10.0 can successfully print good monochrome graphics.
I have to have a clean image from 10.1 for the project I am assigned to. The Intermec Support Team recommended that I contact SS support for an answer, workaround, fix or patch.
To SS Suport: Since BT was able to print the image before the 10.1 update, what can be done to reenable the ability to select and print the correct graphics mode?
To other forum users: If anyone else has experienced this problem and successfully solved it do you mind sharing your solution?

This is a follow-up for the benefit of the members of the forum. Per the phone support line techs, the graphics printing issue in BT 10.1 SR3 is known to Seagull Scientific and they are working on it. I received a beta copy of 10.1 SR4 and I can verify that it solved this particular issue - at least for me.

BTW: It won't be too long now until the official v10.1 SR4 release is out.
